The flooding is severe — and still spreading
Since early September 2026, sustained heavy rainfall has pushed the Ganga, Gandak, Kosi and other rivers above danger levels across Bihar. Many families — particularly in low-lying and riverine hamlets — are still without adequate food, clean water or dry shelter.

We work across education, healthcare, hunger relief, environment, women's empowerment — and during emergencies, that same network mobilises for immediate disaster relief.
